Heather was born and raised in Oklahoma and is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. She earned her Masters in Physician Associate Studies from OU Health Sciences Center in 2012. She has worked in plastic surgery and orthopedics, but most of her experience has been in primary care, urgent care, and emergency medicine.
Heather is passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle and helping others to do the same. She lives with Type 1 Diabetes and understands how difficult it is to live with and manage a chronic disease. After many years on the patient and provider side of healthcare, she decided to partner with Dr. Knowlton to open a direct primary care practice. Together, they hope to provide an alternative approach to healthcare that is better for patients and providers alike.
Members of our practice receive free yearly physicals with basic labs and EKG, wholesale labs and medications, unlimited office and virtual visits. We provide care for your whole family and can perform minor procedures, weight loss management, disease prevention and management, and acute care for illness or injury.
Heather is a mom to two young boys, Henry and Jack, and wife to Phillip. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, exercising, and going to concerts with friends (like Dr. Knowlton).
